                ALL ABOUT FOSTERING
While our dogs are the foster home, we actively seek a permanent, loving home for
the animal.  During this time, the dog receives any necessary veterinary care, which
includes spayi/neuter, rabies and booster vaccinations, heartworm check and
any other necessary treatment that is deemed necessary by one of our
veterinarians.  Before being placed in a permanent, loving home, each dog is
equipped with
a microchip which identifies the dog as a P.A.W.S. dog should it become lost or
abandoned in
the future.
When a dog is placed in foster, the foster home receives:

1.        A tie out stakes to be used to secure the animal if the foster does has no fence;
2.        A tie out cable to be used in conjunction with the tie out stake;
3.        Collar and Leash;
4.        Contact information for our approved veterinary clinics; and
5.        P.A.W.S. to the Rescue identification tag.

children and other animals, without causing stress.  This not only benefits the
dog, but benefits the permanent, loving home in which it will eventually be
placed.  It’s a “win, win.”
